"Day 1 (SUN): LAUCESTON
Your Trip Director will meet you at Launceston Airport and transfer you to the hotel. This afternoon, we will enjoy an orientation journey of Launceston and see the quaint Swiss Village of Grindelwald. Cross the Batman Bridge to George Town and explore the National Trust building, The Grove. Tonight enjoy a welcome drink with your Trip Director and fellow traveling companions.

Accommodation: Hotel Grand Chancellor, Launceston.

DAY 02 (MONDAY): FREYCINET

This morning, we will visit the Bridestowe Lavender Farm and admire the beautiful blooms (early December to early February). Enjoy the lush rainforest scenery and views of Weldborough Pass enroute to St Helen’s. This afternoon we discover the beautiful East Coast and experience picturesque Freycinet National Park on a Ranger guided walk along the boardwalk. Stay tonight in the small seaside resort of Orford.

"Day 1. Launceston, Tamar Valley, Cataract Gorge
Fly to Launceston or sail on the Spirit of Tasmania to Devonport, before your hotel transfer this morning. A tour of Launceston?? sights begins at 2.00 p.m. from the hotel. See beautiful Cataract Gorge and enjoy local produce and a glass of wine as you gaze over the fertile Tamar Valley.

Visit a range of private gardens, including historic Woolmers and Brickendon plus Strathmore and Panshanger gardens. See charming Evandale and Longford villages and enjoy morning tea at the Gourmet Sauce and Topiary Garden.
