Pick up your THRIFTY MEDIUM SEDAN rental car at the Adelaide Airport Depot and start your drive to the Barossa Valley. From Adelaide take the Main North Road (A20) to Sturt Highway to Gawler. From Gawler, take the Lyndoch turnoff and continue along Barossa Valley Way until you come to Jacobs Creek Visitor Centre where you can order delicious cheese platters to enjoy with your wine. Continue north to Tanunda, the focal point of the Barossa Valley. You may like to stop here for lunch before you continue along Barossa Valley Way. Turn onto Seppeltsfield Road, follow the historic avenue of date palms and opposite the Seppelt Winery, you will find your accommodation, THE LODGE COUNTRY HOUSE. This drive is approximately 70km.
